Alternative band Violet Night have released their new single “(if) you are the ocean (then) i would like to drown.” The track is off of their forthcoming album A N T I H E R O E S which arrives Sept. 25. On the new song, vocalist Connor Pohl shares:

“‘Ocean’ is a song about diving headfirst off the deep end into a romantic situation you haven’t fully considered the potential outcomes of. Sometimes people get wrapped up in the idea of who they think someone is, or who they want them to be, for better or worse.

Head here to pre-save A N T I H E R O E S. “(if) you are the ocean (then) i would like to drown” follows up the previously released tracks “hate me,” “evergreen” and “freak me up.”
