The Maine announced during their Worldwide Fan Conference this week that they have begun recording their eighth studio album. Last month, vocalist John O’Callaghan shared that the band had ten songs written for the next album. The Maine plan to release this yet-to-be-titled album sometime next year and it will follow up their 2019 full-length You Are OK.

As well, the Maine are holding their third 8123 Impact Day on Saturday, June 20. The band are encouraging fans to find ways to give back to their communities.

Normally, the Maine would get fans together in a particular city on tour for Impact Day. However, due to coronavirus, the five piece are now asking fans to find safe ways to help out others during the pandemic.

Those taking part in the 8123 Impact Day this weekend are encouraged to use the hashtag #8123Impact on social media. Fans can find out more information about the day and how they can participate here.

Along with this, the Maine recently held an auction and raised over $15,000 for the Black Lives Matter community.
