Full of melody and omniscient piano, Ivory Coast have released their new single “NINES”. Having shared the stage with Volumes, Born of Osiris, Betraying the Martyrs and Palisades, the band are up-and-coming in the metal scene. Their single is “an experimental take on the band’s sound that provides heartfelt vocals with a hint of their heavier side found throughout.” Complete with a full vocal range of pitch and melody, the vocals on the track mesh beautifully with the isolated piano and heavy guitar.
“’NINES’ was one of the first songs we began working on in 2018. The chorus came together first and the rest of song came just as naturally. I think the biggest risk this song takes is that our vocalist, Tyler, sings the whole way through, there’s no screaming in it, and that’s really just a testament to his ability and the vision he had for the song.”
