As one of the most exciting acts in pop music right now, Zara Larsson’s show at London’s Electric Brixton was definitely one to remember. Playing a sixteen song setlist filled with hit after hit, there was not a still body in the venue that night, Zara bringing each of her songs to life with her powerful vocals and charismatic personality.

Zara opened up her set with “Symphony,” the hit song she released with Clean Bandit back in 2017, her incredible vocals ringing through the venue the moment she stepped onstage. With her talented crew of back up dancers at her side, Zara performed a number of her well-known tracks early in her set including “I Would Like” and “Don’t Worry ‘Bout Me.”

Her performance of “Ruin My Life” was a particularly exciting moment during the night. With roars and cheers emerging from the crowd the moment the track kicked in, the repetition of lyrics in the chorus made it easy for all those in attendance to sing along, the energy in the room at an all-time high when the chorus kicked in.

Performed towards the end of her set, “Ain’t My Fault” sent the entire venue into a frenzy, the track’s infectious beats making it impossible for anyone to stand still. Singing the song’s pre-chorus louder than Zara, the singer held the microphone out for the audience to sing the lyrics back to her before breaking out into a choreographed dance the moment the chorus beat dropped.

Closing out the whole night with “Lush Life,” one of her most popular songs to date, it is clear that Zara is more than just another pop star. With a killer stage presence that captivates everyone in the room, her vocals and energy onstage made for one of the most refreshing pop performances the industry has seen in a long time.

As she continues to tour and get played on radio stations worldwide as the year continues, it can only be hoped that Zara brings her #1 hits and charisma back to London sooner rather than later.
