M3F Fest
Hance Park // Phoenix, AZ // March 1st – 3rd, 2019
M3F fest, previously known as McDowell Mountain Music Festival, was nestled in the heart of downtown for the first three days of March. What’s special about M3F Fest is that it is 100% non profit music festival with a belief to support community, culture and charity. The money is donated to charities such as Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Habitat for Humanity, and Smiles for Special Needs. With every ticket, every person, making a difference it is a really special part of Phoenix.
On Friday March 1st, opening day, there was a street fair going on outside that led into the festival, with shops, local artist and food. The people were energetic inside and ready for this weekend to unwrap. There was a limitless energy that the people had, maybe it was the free alcohol but everyone was so happy to be there!
The experience of this festival is unlike any other, it features artists from every genre from reggae to pop to rock, truly something for everyone! Empire of the Sun closed out Saturday and to say it was insane would be an understatement. They had dancers, confetti, and pyrotechnics, it was just wild! Sunday was the most relaxed day with it ending at 9pm so everyone could get some rest before the starting the week.
