“Boyfriend” by Ashlee Simpson was my absolute jam when I was in high school and now we find out it was actually about a secret romance between Lindsay Lohan and Wilmer Valderrama. Rumours have been swirling since 2005 that the singer was in fact singing about the former couple.
Simpson initially denied this rumour but has since revealed the song was inspired by the short lived relationship and was simply making a statement that she dated the actor first when she said ‘I didn’t steal your boyfriend’.
