Russian rock outfit Wildways have shared the latest installment in their music video series for forthcoming dystopian concept album Day X, slated for its worldwide release September 14. Exclusively released in Russia in March, the album has since surpassed 3.7 million streams.
“We couldn’t be more excited to put this record out for the rest of the world to hear!” said vocalist Toli Borisov.” “Each song off the album is part of the overall album storyline, which is about doomsday. We hope for every listener to be able to follow along.”
For sophomore single “Self Riot,” the line between media sensationalism and reality are blurred. Cryptic, geometric graphics frame montages of chaos on both land and at sea.
