On May 29, at The Pub Station in Billings, Montana, The Wonder Years reached a career milestone 13 years in the making: playing a show in all 50 states. To celebrate, the band joined forces with renowned scene designer Mike Cortada for a limited-edition, 19 inches x 25 inches screen-printed poster.
“After some almost comically extensive research,” reads their latest Instagram post, “we were able to track down the first show we played in every state and listed them all as a tour routing across the bottom.”
At their Monday release, only 50 posters–to keep consistent with the states’ numerals, perhaps–will be available. The Wonder Years haven’t yet shared a link to purchase, but instructed fans: “Keep an eye on our socials.”
The Wonder Years unveiled their sixth studio album, Sister Cities, April 6 via Hopeless Records. Check out our recent photo gallery of a Seattle show with special guests Tiny Moving Parts and Tigers Jaw.
