Vespera have a sleek new video for their single “Obsidian Dreams,” premiered earlier on Kerrang!. The Seattle rock outfit combine dance and dark imagery to paint a grim mise-en-scène: “the apex of someone’s mental anguish and [their]self-reflection,” vocalist Jonathan Wolfe, who doubles as protagonist, said.
“‘Obsidian Dreams’ is a prequel to (debut single) ‘Bloom,'” Wolfe added. “It’s the moment of nostalgia and hopelessness an individual experiences before they enter the next chapter of their lives.”
Vespera will release their debut full-length, The Thoughts That Plague You, in 2018.
