Raising Cadence are an alternative rock group hailing from Orlando, Florida. The band recently announced their new EP, Take Me Higher, which is set for release on October 27, 2017. Take Me Higher was produced by Randall Karriker (Stages and Stereos, The Dangerous Summer) at Red Oak Collective. Today, we are premiering their lyric video to their single “Never Tell Me The Odds,” which brings a fresh blend of some progressive rock and hip-hop influences, and is among the most powerful songs on Raising Cadence’s latest EP. “This single is one of our heaviest songs we have written. It is a fusion of heavy rock and hip hop. “Never Tell Me The Odds” dwells into the topic of “self-doubt” and not allowing yourself to grow because of these ideas that we may at times implant in our heads. Ideas like not being able to achieve certain goals or telling yourself you’re worthless. This song is a conversation with one’s self on overcoming that self-doubt and taking control of what’s rightfully yours; Your life.”
