Figure It Out’s new EP Silence Isn’t Golden officially drops Friday, but the Arizona-based band are streaming it early exclusively on Kerrang!. EP No. 3, picking up where the sophomore release left off, reveals noticeable growth–FIO is more in tune with their audience than they’ve ever been, according to frontman Mike Weakley:
The first EP we wrote was a play on the nostalgia of what we loved about pop punk music. We had grown to understand what was current in the scene when writing the second EP. We felt like we had to aim the third towards some simplicity for the listener. I love that it is very relatable and can connect a little bit more with the audience than before.
