Singer-songwriter Fiona Silver just wrapped her tour with The Bottom Dollars and has shared “Smoking Gun,” the second single from her forthcoming album Little Thunder out this summer. NYC-based Silver described the track, which premiered today exclusively on Pure Volume, as “the push and pull of a tortured mind”:
“Smoking Gun” is a cinematic journey into the mind of a scorned woman driving through the desert to kill her lover. It starts with an eerie whistle from afar and dives right into a heavy, visceral feeling; the grips of insanity. “Foot on the pedal, wind in my hair, backseat lover, did you think I don’t care?”
