Cleveland’s Jesea Lee, guitarist for the now-defunct punk band One Days Notice, has released the first single off his debut EP, Sleepspent. Featuring dreamy instrumentation that breaks into powerful riffs, Lee presents “TV Glow,” an overthinking anthem:
I know a lot of people (myself included) that deal with anxiety and this song is about those sleepless nights when you just sort of replay and overthink things. That’s kind of a running theme throughout the whole record. There’s a little bit of angst and love, as well. All things most people nearing 30 probably feel, ha. – Jesea Lee
Sleepspent is scheduled for release July 14.
