We Are The In Crowd/SAINTE guitarist Cameron Hurley has a new side project, producing covers in the styles of other artists and eras under the name new.wave. So far, Hurley has released a Blink-182-esque version of The 1975’s “Girls” and Fall Out Boy’s “Centuries” à la their 2003 album, Take This to Your Grave. The latest new.wave rework, unveiled Friday, is Halsey’s “New Americana” in the style of Panic! At the Disco’s 2005 LP, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out. Stream all three covers below!
The collection is only beginning. Won't stop until every song has been turned into another style.. or until I run out of ideas 🤷🏻♂️ https://t.co/LE87u7dAkP
