Stockholm folk/pop duo Smith & Thell have shared the lyric video for their new single “February,” described by Paste, which premiered the video, as “a stripped down, ominous song about hands touching the remote control more often than their lover.” The track, an orchestral power-ballad, captures a dissonance between desires and a lack of motivation to carry them out, amidst the numbing depths of winter–or creative setbacks, during which “February” was written.
“February” is the third single from Smith & Thell’s forthcoming album Soulprints, out May 12 via Playground Music. Pre-order the album here.
