Michelle Branch has announced she will release a new full-length album, her first in 14 years, April 7. The title track, the sultry “Hopeless Romantic,” is out now. Since signing with Maverick Records at 17 and selling 2 million copies of her subsequent LP, The Spirit Room, Branch–a Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum singer-songwriter–says of her highly-anticipated fourth album via press release:
A lot of these songs are about heartbreak, but knowing that it doesn’t mean the end of the world. It just means letting go and moving on and knowing that you’re going to be okay. This is my first real-life autobiographical record.
