The MTV Europe Music Awards last night in Rotterdam awarded many artists in the alternative and rock genres: Twenty One Pilots took home two awards, Best Live Act and Best Alternative; Coldplay won for Best Rock; and Green Day were given the Global Icon Award. As for international awards, ONE OK ROCK, Troye Sivan, and Broods were deemed the Best Japanese, Australian, and New Zealand Acts. View the complete list of winners here.
