Mayday Parade will release the highly-anticipated reissue of their debut EP, “Tales Told By Dead Friends,” Friday, but not without surprises along the way. Today a GIF of the telephone number 865.51.TALES with the EP’s album imagery in the foreground was posted to the band’s social media accounts. Other artists, such as Panic! At The Disco and COIN, have also been recently incorporating similar ways to connect with fans – whether customizing a voicemail with Brendon Urie’s pre-recorded phrases or talking to members of COIN by way of a hotline (in conjunction with their latest single, “Talk Too Much”).
