Before setting out on a sold-out U.K./Europe tour with Panic! At The Disco, Tigertown released an energetic new single, “Papernote,” today. The pensive tone of the verses, juxtaposing with an explosive chorus, are reminiscent of Avicii’s “Silhouettes”; recorded across four continents, the track is actually a transformation of a two-bar loop by Zimbabwean guitar legend Oliver Mtukudzi. The Australian family band’s forthcoming EP of the same name, on which Filous and BØRNS are also featured, drops October 28 via Neon Gold Records.
