Kicking off next month, Astronautalis will bring his full band on the road for shows all over the United States — literally. The socially-conscious, can’t-stay-in-one-place-for-to
Earlier this year, Astronautalis released his fifth studio album, Cut The Body Loose. Brilliantly produced by John Congleton (St. Vincent, Modest Mouse, Bill Callahan), Cut The Body Loose took the world by storm. The impactful video for the album’s lead single, “Running Away From God” (below), won mtvU’s Freshmen contest by a landslide with nearly 90,000 individual fan votes, and that was just the start of the campaign.
“This is something I have wanted to do since I first started touring,” explains Astronautalis. “Playing 65 shows in all 50 states, in the last months of the most insane presidential election in our nations’s history… I thought now would be a perfect time to make it happen.”
