Adam Elmakias, who has photographed artists such as Pierce The Veil, PVRIS, and All Time Low – he was even Alex Gaskarth’s wedding photographer – is challenging his Instagram followers to a creativity contest. Elmakias hosted the first #beAphotographer challenge from June 2-11, and its popularity inspired another round. The second installment of the challenge begins July 13 and lasts for 10 days, with each day posing a new theme and category-specific hashtag. Elmakias posts guidelines and updates on the challenge on a separate account, @baphotographer, and at beAphotographer.net. Participants have the chance to win daily prizes – small enamel camera pins – and a grand prize, a Think Tank Photo bag.
