Since 2013, Jason Singer has been fighting nonstop to get his passion project off the ground, playing churches and basements in his home of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and the surrounding areas. Now in 2016, that’s slowly becoming a reality with the release of his debut single as Michigander called “Nineties.” The track, produced, mixed and mastered by Sam Ridgell at The Kitchen in Madison Heights, MI, tackles the nostalgia of simpler times with a steady guitar melody and Singer’s vocals evoking emotion without being over the top or in your face.
Singer says the song “is about how easy life was when we were younger and how the world seemed less crazy. Mostly because as a child the world seems more beautiful.”
