Nashville-based rock band Kings of Leon announced plans to release their next record in 2016 during a year-end interview with the Associated Press. “We’ve already started pre-production in our studio for the next record, but the main thing on the calendar for 2016 is getting the record finished,” drummer Nathan Followill told the AP. The new record will be the band’s first release since their 2013 hit, Mechanical Bull.
