The 1975 have released the video for “Love Me,” the first single from their forthcoming second album, I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it (Dirty Hit/Interscope). Directed by Diane Martel, the video’s deliberately post-ironic self-indulgent performance parodies rock and roll in the digital age and the self-constructed mythology of the iPhone generation.
