Multi-platinum, Grammy® Award winning rock band Imagine Dragons release the video for their new song, “Roots,” today on Vevo. The band partnered with Box to present the video during BoxWorks and to create a companion brief that helps tell the story of how the video came to life.
Imagine Dragons took an honest and introspective approach to creating the music video for their new single, “Roots.” The video follows lead singer Dan Reynolds in his struggle to maintain a sense of self and balance in the chaotic whirlwind of tour life by rediscovering his roots.
The video, directed by Matt Eastin (Imagine Dragons’ “Top Of The World” and “Shots” (Broiler Remix)) was filmed in Auckland and Christchurch, New Zealand while the band was overseas for their Smoke + Mirrors Worldwide tour.
