Handguns have premiered a new single from their forthcoming album, Disenchanted. The song is called “Self Portrait” and can be streamed below via the official lyric video. The band’s new album is slated for release on November 13 via Pure Noise Records.
“This song is a figurative painting in the sense that all of the experiences I’ve had in my life make up the person I am, hence the title “Self Portrait,” says singer Taylor Eby. “I wanted this song to be the first track on the record because I think it is a good starting point and gives a little more inside depth to my life. What I am trying to say is that I’m a weirdo but I’m totally okay with it.”
