Pop sensation Another October are on the verge of something big. The group from Grand Rapids create lasting catchy pop melodies with high energy riffs. Vocalist Chen Flakes leads a group of charismatic pop musicians to mesh spacey synths and poppy licks.

How did you form?
I started the band back in 2012 with some friends across the state. Zach was recording an album when we were recording our first release with the same producer. He joined halfway through the writing of our latest release. Zach recruited Nick last summer. Their metal bands used to gig together back in the day. I met Kaleb through our day jobs at Guitar Center. He joined shortly after Nick did.
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
The highlight of our career has to be our latest music video release on VEVO. It captures everything we have been working for in the past two and a half years.
Why should people listen to you? What makes you different?
As a pop band, it can be difficult to separate yourself from the crowd. We throw a lot of different ideas at the wall in hopes that most of it sticks. You’ll hear elements of electronic music, hip hop, punk rock, and country. The music becomes even more diverse when we convert it into a live setting. We focus heavily on our vocals. People will be surprised by our harmonies overtop an unexpected, intricate rhythmic structure buried under electronic-influenced layers.
