How did you form?
“Survay Says! mostly started as a joke by me and my friends, writing goofy songs and putting them up on our MySpace and pretending to be a band. But after we started playing some shows, I realized there could be a career for us here.”
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
“For me, the ability to have people relate to what we’re singing about and dance along to our music. I write in hopes to connect with anyone out there that may think along the same lines that I do and it seems some people out there really get what we’re saying. A close second would be developing the friendships we have with touring bands, fans, and even some of the people we look up to most of all. (Reel Big Fish, MxPx, Big D & The Kids Table, the list goes on)”
Why should people listen to you? What makes you different?
“If you like ska punk, you’ll dig it. If you like pop punk, you’ll dig it. If you like lyrical based rock, you’ll dig it. If you like a danceable catchy tune, you’ll dig it. I think there’s something for everyone in our tunes. But whatever your tastes may be, our music comes from a real place and real love and passion. No gimmicks. No BS. It’s just us in musical form.”
