Fine Fine Titans, a female fronted post-hardcore group from Grand Rapids, Michigan, are emerging into the scene. The band began by merging Jenn and Evan’s love for music and their love for each other. After holy matrimony, they created Fine Fine Titans with the addition of Kris and Joe. Their music will keep your feet off the ground and your heads thrashing. Check out their story below and don’t forget to follow them on Twitter and to give their Facebook page a like!

How did you form?
Fine Fine Titans started to form in late 2010, though Jenn and Evan have known each other since 2007. A couple guitarists and drummers later, and we reach the current lineup of the band!
Highlight of your career so far. This could have been a show you’ve been able to play, etc.
For me, the highlight of my career so far has been being able to record a music video with Three Goats Moving Pictures. Recording with them was sort of like going to a small, local venue and seeing a band who you can tell is right on the verge of hitting it big. Whenever you see a band like that there is a distinct excitement in the crowd because everybody can tell they are experiencing something special, which is exactly how I felt while recording the video to “Dance of the Omega.” The professionalism they have, while at the same time still keeping things fun and laid back is a rare balance very few people can find, let alone something a whole team of people are able to find. Three Goats has that extra drive and passion for what they do, and it shows while watching any of their videos. My favorite thing about working with them was the attention they pay to detail and their ability of getting all the small, tedious things to go right. They are more than willing to go the extra mile to make the finished product perfect, and that is exactly what they do every time. I feel extremely lucky to have made a video with Three Goats Moving Pictures while they are still a small, local, and on the rise.
Why should people listen to you? What makes you different?
People should give Fine Fine Titans a listen because regardless of whether you end up loving it or hating it you will be hearing musicians who put their heart and soul into everything they do, and want to present that to you in a raw, ass-kicking manner. I think that makes us different from other bands who have been changed by labels, or their long for mainstream success, or any other outside factor that alters the creative process. We haven’t let things like that factor into what Fine Fine Titans is all about. I definitely understand that everyone has different tastes in music, and respect the opinions of people may not enjoy what we are doing, but something that music fans of all genres can appreciate is when artists give you a product that comes straight from the heart, no bullshit included.
