How did you form?
Arc & Stones started as a vision between Dan Pellarin (Vocals, Guitar) and Ben Cramer (Lead Guitar). Upon meeting in college back in 2010, ideas were tossed around about starting up a band, but it was not until June of 2012 that Arc & Stones would officially begin. Both Pellarin and Cramer relocated to New York City to begin writing and recording what is now their debut five song EP, Arc & Stones EP. It was during the summer of 2012 that the band recruited members Eddy Bayes (Bass) and Joe Doino (Drums).
Having their sound described as a mix of alternative-rock, blues and soul, Arc & Stones deliver hard-hitting music from the heart. The band played their first show in September 2012 and has been making a name for themselves throughout New York City as well as a national touring act.
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
We believe that the highlight of our career was our New Years Eve show at The Bitter End. There was electricity in the air that night; we felt it, the crowd felt it, even the people working at the bar felt it. We had the honor of doing the count down as well, so that added a little excitement to the mix. We ended up being able to do the count down just as we finished our set up so it really couldn’t have been more perfect timing. We played our hearts out, had the time of our lives, and then celebrated with close friends and family afterwards. We couldn’t have asked for more.
Why should people listen to you? What makes you different?
We write and perform the type of Rock and Roll we want to listen to. It’s honest and from the heart. We want to make it ok to listen to Rock and Roll again.
