Grown Up Avenger Stuff is a band from North Carolina committed to rocking out and making sure everyone has a great time doing so. We recently got the chance to ask them (for their personal band) whether winter was a better season for touring or writing music, something we are very intrigued about. Check out what each member had to say about this question below.
Tyler (drums): Touring is better in the winter because it’s not so dang hot and I can actually think. Although winter feels sad, it’s nostalgic.
Hunter (bass): Touring is always fun, you can always write music on the road. But I like to do everything in all seasons. It’s just my thing.
Deirdre (vocals): Both! Touring is better weather and people seem happier and not oppressed by the heat (it gets crazy hot here in Charlotte) – and getting out there and touring is productive for writing.
John (guitar): For us, writing in the winter is definitely more productive – you have big holidays and there are inspirations across the entire spectrum. In summer, people are mostly naked.

Summertime in Charlotte is miserable for all bands. I have seen this band several times and they are always great. If they happen to be in the area go check them out NOW!
