How did Voices form?
Erik & Myself (Alex) were in a previous band together that slowly fell apart over time. After taking time off from bands, we both got back together in May of 2012 to write what would become Voices debut EP The Warden & The Whisper. After finding Tom Salamonowicz through some mutual friends, we then found Kevin and Ryan to complete the line up and give the band life.
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
Releasing our debut EP and having so many people anticipating it’s release and listening to it, than we even could have thought. It’s truly an awesome feeling seeing all of the hard work and time appreciated. And, it’s only the beginning!
Why should people listen to your band? What makes Voices different?
Voices is unique in the fact that we take elements of pop and rock and really try to infuse them in metal and post hardcore music in a way that many bands don’t. We write what we love and what we want to listen to.
