Sometimes Craigslist can come in handy for things besides buying a new couch or car, such as finding members who want to form a new band. In Central, CT this is exactly what happened for the now formed band Life On The Sideline. The quartet of honest rockers began creating music together that they believe in and that will hopefully will carry their band to the next level. Check out their profile below and their recent EP entitled Outpatient (link below)!

How did Life on the Sideline Form?
Strangely enough we all met through the use of Craigslist. After growing tired of previous, unmotivated bands, we decided it was time to form a band that we all believe in and more importantly made music we believe in.
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
About 2 months after we released Outpatient we played a venue we’ve been to a number of times. I’m always ecstatic when I get to play a show but this night was unlike any other. There we’re probably 10 kids that knew our songs, so it wasn’t like we sold out some huge venue or anything, but seeing these kids go absolutely nuts for music we’ve written was surreal. Those 30 minutes onstage made the 100s of hours of work put into this band completely worth it. It was just crazy.
Why should people listen to your music? What makes Life on the Sidelines different?
We’re honest. I think that’s our best character as a band. We truly believe in everything we play, it’s hard to find that nowadays people are too tied up with things we don’t care about like the latest fashion and becoming “famous.” Honestly, we don’t want it, we care about making music we love and want to spread it to as many ears as possible.
