Located in Pine Hill, NJ, the 23 year old acoustic folk artist is working hard at making his dream come to life. His music that radiates a calming serenity has already premiered on college radio stations as well as across the sea in the UK. How did you begin writing/creating music?
That’s a good question. I never really had intention of “writing” music. I always liked fooling around and coming up with stuff, but it was never a plan to actually start writing music.  To make a really long story short, I wanted to write and record a song for my girlfriend at the time, and after some people heard it, they said they wanted to hear more.  So, I started writing more until it finally has become a HUGE part of my life and I hope to do something with it; even if it is something small.  If I can write a song that has any kind of impact on a person’s life, than that’s enough for me.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?
We had the amazing opportunity to open for Young The Giant last April after winning Arcadia University’s battle of the bands.  That is one thing the band and I will never NEVER forget and we are so humbled to have expereinced that.

Why should people listen to you? What makes you different?
The answer to that is simple; we’re different.  We play an acoustic style that doesn’t sound like most other acoustic artists.  We take a step back from the strumming of the chords and the snap of the snare and throw in the nylon of a ukulele and that smack of a conga.  We like to throw in a little of everything.  Every lyric I write has meaning to me, whether the message is short and simple, or long and heart felt.  We don’t let other’s opinions stop us from keeping our uniqueness and originality.  We love what we write and how we write it and hope that the people we write it for, which is everyone, loves listening to it just as much as we love writing it.
