August Burns Red made a stop in Tempe, AZ on their fall tour with Of Mice & Men. At first I thought this would be a strange show because of the bands that were playing together. The headliner was ABR and opening for them was Of Mice along with The Color Morale. The Color Morale kicked off the show by bringing a crap town of energy and hype to get everyone pumped for the headliners. It almost felt like they were headlining the show with the amount of crowd surfers riding the waves of hands and the enormous circle pit they had. ABR being the older but, still very well known band, I knew they would draw a good share of metal fans to the show, along with Austin Carlie, vocalist for Of Mice & Men drawing out his wide range of little fan girls. Meshing these two bands together was an interesting combo but nonetheless an awesome show to watch. Make sure to check out this tour if it is passing through your area!
