Arctic Monkeys perform at opening ceremonies

If you weren’t busy last night, you were probably on your couch with friends and family watching the opening ceremonies of the 2012 summer Olympics in London. No year will probably ever top the 2008 Beijing opening ceremonies, however the music this year was perfect. There were many artists who performed but The Arctic Monkeys definitely stood out. The band performed their own song “I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor” as well as their cover of the Beatles song “Come Together”, in the presence of Paul McCartney as he himself closed out the opening ceremonies with “Hey Jude”.
