Glass Cloud
Review by Shane Cahill
Most people associate Jerry Roush with Of Mice & Men, but if you think that Glass Cloud is just an OM&M copy you couldn’t be more wrong. Roush has teamed up with The Tony Danza Extravaganza guitarist Joshua Travis, bassist Travis Sykes and drummer Chad Hasty who together have made something for Roush fans and new fans to get excited about.
The band released two singles on March 20th, “White Flag” and “Counting Sheep.” Travis’s 8 string guitar work is a crucial part of the band’s sound and it compliments Roush’s vocals perfectly. The songs are a great blend between aggressive metalcore and haunting prog-like clean vocals that work in such a way that sets Glass Cloud apart from any other band in their genre. It will be hard to not get excited to see what this band is capable of on a full length album after hearing these two songs
