Hello, friends in the blogosphere, and happy Sunday to you! I’m writing to you about an impromptu experimental recording project I’m doing for Gardening, Not Architecture that I’m kinda excited about.
It’s a self-imposed creative hibernation, and I’m calling it “The Florida Sessions” — two weeks alone in a house in northwest Florida, recording unedited demos and posting them each day in the Gardening, Not Architecture blog (and on Soundcloud). The first post went up late last night at http://gardeningnotarchitecture.com along with the first demo, and it’s already almost at 100 plays today!
It’s my shorter-term and less-intense version of Bon Iver’s stint in a northern Wisconsin cabin that produced “For Emma, Forever Ago.” At the end of the two weeks, I’ll be releasing the collection of demos to the G,NA email list, for free.
