This Wild Life have a new song to play at their summer headline shows. “Break Me,” released yesterday, is an acoustic plea: “Cause I can never walk away, and so it’s up to you to break me.” Essentially, quit me, because I can’t quit you.
Its music video, a collaboration with Baldwin Media, illustrates the ebbs and flows of the rocky relationship through the destruction of a bedroom’s contents–and the quite literal sweeping under the rug of their remnants. It’s only a matter of time before everything falls apart again, perhaps more severely than the last.
