Highly Suspect’s New Video is Heartbreakingly True to Life

0

In a new video for the second single off their latest album, The Boy Who Died Wolf, Highly Suspect once again aim to let art reflect life. Co-directed by DJay Brawner and frontman Johnny Stevens, the follow-up to “My Name Is Human” features muse Madison Parker as “Little One”–and it’s the last time Stevens saw her. “The irony here,” he said, “is that the band pulls me away from love.”

“Little One” is about love slipping through the cracks. It’s the feeling you have when you know you just lost your lover, your right hand, your best friend. Our videos try to capture emotion. Standing in an empty room pretending to play instruments is something you’ll never see us do. – Johnny Stevens
Highly Suspect are currently on a sold-out U.S. headliner and are also scheduled to appear at Lollapalooza, Shaky Knees, Bottlerock, Bumbershoot, and Milwaukee Summerfest, with more dates to be announced soon. Find tickets to all upcoming shows here.
