The Fontaines’ Newest Single is a Feel-Good Ode to Catch and Release

The Fontaines have released an anti-love song in their latest single, “Evaporate.” The track, off 2016’s ii, is a bouncy confession of the one you don’t want to tell your friends about, said vocalist Charlotte Fontaine. “It isn’t love, but both of you keep it going anyways,” Fontaine explained via press release.

The band, fronted by brother and sister Charlotte and Hank Fontaine and backed by Chrystian Kaplan (drums) and Daniel Zuker (bass), will perform a handful of official showcases at SXSW next month.
