“Rays of light through the curtains flood and light up your comfortable house” – Forecast’s music video for “Vacant” is a perfect manifestation of its lyrics. Just as the lyrics’ tone changes consistently throughout the song – “When the sparks in your eyes dim to coal, it leaves us groping in the dark” – the scene the melodic hardcore band hailing from Rome, Italy performs within fades out of blue light and into a golden warmth.
