Video Premiere: The Lawsuits – “Romeo”

0

It’s difficult to put a finger on what exactly makes The Lawsuits stand out. The Philadelphia band doesn’t allow themselves to be confined to one genre of music. But while that may be the case, their song “Romeo,” off of the band’s second full-length release, Moon Son, leans more toward a Fleetwood Mac influenced style of music mixed with hints of synth here and there. The song is light hearted and carefree, making lead singer Brian Strouse’s vocals stand out and carry the melody.

The video for the song is a perfect accompaniment to the track. It’s 360 degree view puts you inside of the video and, much like the song, allows you to feel like you’re a part of the experience. Strouse said this about the making of the unique video:

“We used 7 GoPro cameras and a specialized mount to create our first 360 degree interactive video. The storyline in Romeo follows a character walking around the inescapable ruins of his existence. I think.”
