How did you get your start in music?
I was exposed to music through my father. He used to play guitar for my sister and me while we took our baths.
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
The tours I’ve been on have been the best part of being a professional musician. Getting to perform for people and then communicate face to face is an experience that can’t be beaten. A lot of my favorite memories come from touring.
Why should people listen to you? What makes you different?
Right now I think I’m putting a unique spin on Pop/R&B music. I don’t see many pop artists writing lyrics with a substantial message that is seeking to do anything other than grow a brand. Being a solo bedroom project, So Much Light can put out music without anybody else’s input or any agenda besides self-expression. All of my songs are unfiltered and in the moment.
