It’s that time of the year where winter has left us and summer is finally making it’s sunny appearances.  This means, beach days in swimsuits, short shorts and skirts, tank tops, and more of our favorite summer outfits.  Most people are using this time to get their bodies in top shape to show off for the summer.  I personally enjoy going for long walks, runs, and bike rides.  Here is a list of songs for all types of workouts you can add to your playlist that will help you keep feeling motivated to want to get that body in shape and to stay active.

1. “Dreaming” – Smallpools

I first heard this song on a drive to work when listening to the radio and it had me moving in my seat anxiously wishing I could head out for a bike ride.  I had to write down the name of it immediately.

2. “The Glass” – The Story So Far

For all you pop punk fans out there, this is one of my favorite’s by TSSF and it always pumps me up while I’m out on my runs or even lifting weights.  Working out is the perfect way to get out any anger and stress and you will find that with the help of TSSF.

3. “7/11” – Beyoncé

For everyone reading this, please watch the video below. If you are not much of a runner or one to do intense workouts, this song is perfect for you to just dance around your house like you own the place.  I blast this song while making food and feel the burn while doing my attempt at copying some of Beyoncé’s dance moves.  No workout equipment needed.

4. “Rollercoaster” – Bleachers

Are you looking for an epic song to make your workouts that much better? Well here you go! I found it! This is it!  For any types of working out, this fun upbeat catchy song will have you moving and also singing along.  I love Bleachers.  love this song. I love being active.

5.  “What’s It Feel Like to Be a Ghost” – Taking Back Sunday

I’m still a major fan of Taking Back Sunday to this day. So here is an oldie for you guys, but one that is still awesome.
