Something You Whisper

If you’ve been around the Warped Tour scene for a while, you know it can be hard to find a good post-hardcore group that stands out from others. We have been searching far and wide and have found just what we were looking for! Something You Whisper is a post-hardcore/rock band based out of “Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, North America, and Earth,” according to Wes Will, the band’s vocalist. This group is fresh, talented, and driven. Having already achieved all of their early goals, it looks like it is time for them to create new ones! Check out was Will has to say further about the band in their profile below.

Current single:
We just released a song called “Anti-Conscience” It’s a song about escaping a life you aren’t enjoying anymore. We shot a music video for it as well on the hottest day of the year, so you can see us nice and sweaty. Take a listen to it below!

Members
Wes Will- Vocals
Kyle Adshade- Guitar // Vocals
Austin Palladini- Guitar // Vocals
Brian Shepard- Bass
Tom McArthur- Drums

How did you form?
We were friends in high school, or in the case of Brian, we stole him from another band. We found Austin asleep under the slide at a nearby park. He was wearing a denim vest so we knew he was a guitarist, and therefore invited him to join SYW.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?
We played every province in Canada multiple times. That seems cool to say. We also played Warped Tour Toronto in 2012. Obviously it’s every bands dream to do that so…now we need to make some bigger goals!

Why should people listen to you? What makes you different?
People should listen to us because we don’t dumb down our music. We write good lyrics, and good instrumentation. We put thought into our music beyond what will sell, and try to give off a message that can be interpreted differently by everyone. There are a lot of bands out there, and we’re trying to be real. We bring the intensity of hardcore and mash it with real emotion with pop style vocals.
