Carolina Liar recently made a stop in The Woodlands, TX as a part of Kelly Clarkson’s 2012 Stronger tour.  Opening the show, the band played through the bright Texas sun and heat to a packed pavilion.  Although they had a short set, the band offered up a mixture of songs from their debut album as well as their most recent record, Wild Blessed Freedom.

The band had big shoes to fill considering they were opening up for not only Kelly Clarkson but also The Fray, but the band kept their cool through the whole set like they had been playing to this size of a crowd for years.  Chad Wolf and company kept the crowd entertained  throughout the whole set, with their humorous banter and energy.  The audience, comprised of a mixture of both young and old, clapped and swayed along to the band from the seats and all the way to the back of the lawn.  Closing with their big hits, “Show Me What I’m Looking For” and” Im Not Over” as the sun was beginning to set on the Pavilion was a perfect ending for the band.

Carolina Liar is a band full of charmisa and heart, that put on an amazing performance.  Do not miss the chance to see this band when they come through a city near you!
